The Romania Compassion Mission was birthed at Tri-County Worship Center in Bethel, PA. Since the maiden voyage into Romania, I have led five additional teams into this wonderful country. Our teams are anywhere from 5 to 12 people and are no longer limited to just Tri-County folks.
We goal is to bring hope, encouragement and much needed aide to our gypsy Christian brothers and sisters in remote, destitute villages throughout the country of Romania. Once in the country we will purchase groceries to distribute to needy familes. Additionally we carry much needed clothing and medical supplies with us.
We have begun building our team of our 2010 outreach. If you would be interested in helping us reach the needy with God's love and become a part of this exciting and vital team, contact me as soon as possible.
We will be working with Outstretched Hands of Romania in Calarasi this hear in addition to our regular grocery and food distribution. For more information on this exciting ministry, check out their website at handsofromania.com.
Please pray for us as we once again take much needed help and hope to the Romanians.
Outstretched Hands (OH) brings together people in Romania and other countries who are dedicated to reaching impoverished children, and other poor, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Due to the poor conditions in Romania, it is vital to have a comprehensive plan that not only focuses on saving souls, but also on ministering to obvious physical needs. They also need to know that there is a God who loves them deeply and who has a purpose for their lives; but spiritual darkness prevails amidst the extreme poverty and lack of purpose.
Understanding these conditions and the task at hand, Pastor Brad Hayes, his wife Nora, and his family moved to Romania in September of 2001. The Hayes family has answered God's call to minister to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the people in the region of Calarasi. They work together with the OH staff as an effective team, each knowing their important and valued role. But they can't do it alone!
